Dead zones are a problem, although many players in the market are trying to fix it with alternatives radio access technologies. Google proposes to enable satellite connectivity for smartphones, which will allow for the continuity of access to Internet.

However, connectivity with satellites is not to be an alternative to LTE or 5G. It is to allow the use of only the most basic functions in places where it is difficult to access the mobile network. Probably the bandwidth of this form of communication will be low and will allow at most basic communication options – for example, making emergency calls.
