The beginning of summer and the first heatwave have effectively driven us out of our homes. At the end of June, the holiday season officially launched, bringing with it a massive test for network infrastructure in Poland’s most popular tourist spots. Before we pack our bags for good, let’s check how domestic operators are entering this hot period and who currently offers the best connection parameters.
Who earned the title of leader this time, and who needs to quickly catch up before the peak of holiday trips? Welcome to the detailed report based on the latest data!
June 2026 leaves no doubts – the Polish mobile market has a clear speed leader. T-Mobile once again leads in average data download speed categories, both in 5G technology and the older 4G LTE standard. On the other hand, Orange consistently defends its position as the best choice for those seeking the lowest latency (Ping). Play keeps up bravely with the leaders, while Plus – although recording stable results – still lags behind in most key categories.

RFBENCHMARK measurement methodology – where does our data come from?
Our June report was created based on the analysis of 277,389 measurements performed by users themselves using the RFBENCHMARK mobile application. The so-called crowdsourcing allows us to assess service quality in real-world conditions rather than in sterile laboratories.
User activity across individual networks was as follows:
- Orange: 34.5%
- Play: 30%
- Plus: 18.3%
- T-Mobile: 17.2%
Measurements are conducted under everyday usage conditions (crowdsourcing), which reflects the actual experiences of mobile network customers in Poland, eliminating laboratory tests. The analysis focuses exclusively on the latest technologies: 5G and 4G LTE.
The structure of May measurements by technology is as follows:
-
4G LTE technology: 55.58% of all measurements
-
5G technology: 44.04%
-
Older technologies (including 3G): 0.38%
