5G performance
Average data download speed: Plus (151.1 Mbps)
Plus maintains its dominance in the average data download speed category for 5G, achieving a result of 151.1 Mbps, significantly superior to the other operators. T-Mobile came in second (56.5 Mbps), which shows that this operator is highly competitive, but its result is still substantially lower than that of Plus. Play, with a result of 52.3 Mbps, took third place, slightly trailing the leaders, and Orange (49.9 Mbps) rounded off the ranking. Orange was the only operator to fall below the 50 Mbps threshold.
Average data upload speed: T-Mobile (37.5 Mbps)
T-Mobile outperformed the competition, achieving the highest data upload speed for 5G (37.5 Mbps), demonstrating the solid quality of this operator’s services. Play came second with a result of 35.8 Mbps, and Orange completed the podium with a result of 33 Mbps. Plus, despite its excellent performance in the data download speed category, came last in terms of upload speed with a score of 25.4 Mbps.
Lowest ping value: Orange and T-Mobile (29.8 ms)
Orange and T-Mobile jointly achieved the lowest ping value (29.8 ms) on the 5G network. Behind them, in third place, was Play (31.3 ms). Plus closed the ranking in this 5G network quality category with a result of 36.1 ms.
4G LTE performance
Average data download speed: T-Mobile (41.7 Mbps)
T-Mobile held onto its regained first place in the data download speed category for 4G, achieving a result of 41.7 Mbps. Once again, it outperformed Orange, which took silver (38.2 Mbps). Play came in third with 37.9 Mbps, indicating similar quality of 4G network services. Once again, Plus has to settle for fourth place (31.9 Mbps), lagging significantly behind its competitors.
Average data upload speed: Play (23.0 Mbps)
Play maintained its position as the leader in the data upload speed category for 4G, achieving a result of 23.0 Mbps, which shows that this operator offers excellent services for both downloading and uploading data. The second place was crowded. Similar to the category of the lowest average ping value for 5G, there was a tie between Orange and T-Mobile (20.0 Mbps). Plus, with a result of 17.8 Mbps, found itself in last place in this category, which could be a result of focusing on the expansion of the 5G network.
Lowest ping value: Play (31.1 ms)
Orange, with a result of 31.1 ms, took first place in the ping value for 4G category. The previous leader, Play, narrowly gave up the top spot, recording 31.3 ms. T-Mobile came in third this time (34.2 ms), although it had clearly aspired to higher positions in the recent past. Plus, with a result of 39.1 ms, achieved the worst result in this category, which could impact connection quality and latency.

How did we collect data for the ranking?
The measurements are collected from the users of our mobile app. It allows us to measure basic mobile network parameters – including signal level and quality depending on the technology used by the mobile device, information about the mobile network operator, or the country where the smartphone is located. In addition, on-demand measurements of data download and upload speeds, as well as a latency test, are performed.
When the app notices a low-quality voice call, lack of mobile Internet service, or other services, it has the ability to report the user’s current position where the problem occurred.
