Mobile internet in Poland – what did August 2025 look like?
In August, for 5G measurements, the download-speed leader was T-Mobile with 382.5 Mb/s, closely followed by Orange (374.8 Mb/s). Both values were lower than in July (398.4 Mb/s and 378.3 Mb/s respectively). Play reached 215.4 Mb/s, and Plus 130.9 Mb/s, keeping those networks in the second half of the table. For upload speeds, T-Mobile took first place (62.2 Mb/s), followed by Orange (60.1 Mb/s), then Play (51.8 Mb/s) and Plus (27.4 Mb/s). The lowest 5G ping was recorded by Orange—20.3 ms, ahead of Play—21.9 ms, T-Mobile—23.6 ms, and Plus—27.0 ms, confirming Orange’s steady advantage in latency.
In 4G LTE, the fastest downloads were again delivered by T-Mobile—an average of 61.1 Mb/s, an improvement over July (56.9 Mb/s). It was followed by Orange (48.5 Mb/s), Play (44.5 Mb/s), and Plus (42.2 Mb/s). The order did not change, confirming a stable balance of power in this technology. For uploads, T-Mobile also led (22.4 Mb/s), with small gaps to its rivals: Play reached 21.8 Mb/s and Orange 20.8 Mb/s; Plus brought up the rear with 18.1 Mb/s. In terms of latency, Orange performed best—26.7 ms, ahead of Play—29.7 ms, T-Mobile—31.0 ms, and Plus—38.8 ms, once again confirming Orange’s advantage in LTE ping.

5G Results
Average download speed: T-Mobile (395.4 Mb/s)
In September, T-Mobile delivered the fastest 5G downloads—395.4 Mb/s. Orange placed second with 357.3 Mb/s, trailing the leader by 38.1 Mb/s. Next came Play (217.1 Mb/s) and Plus (120.4 Mb/s). The gaps between the top two networks and the remaining operators are clear, showing that T-Mobile’s and Orange’s 5G advantage is most visible in downloading large files and streaming at the highest quality.
Average upload speed: T-Mobile (60.4 Mb/s)
For upload speeds, T-Mobile also led with 60.4 Mb/s, with Orange very close behind at 57.6 Mb/s. Play recorded 51.3 Mb/s, while Plus reached 26.2 Mb/s. The small distance between T-Mobile and Orange suggests a tight race for tasks like cloud backups or live broadcasts, while Plus clearly lagged.
Lowest ping: Orange (20 ms)
In terms of latency, Orange achieved the best result—20 ms. It was followed by T-Mobile—23 ms, Play—23 ms, and Plus—27 ms. Lower ping translates into a quicker network response, so Orange’s advantage may be noticeable in online gaming and video calls that require smooth communication.
4G LTE Results
Average download speed: T-Mobile (59.4 Mb/s)
In September, T-Mobile provided the fastest LTE downloads—59.4 Mb/s. Behind the leader were Orange (43.7 Mb/s) and Play (42.4 Mb/s), with Plus closing the table (40.2 Mb/s). The gap between first place and the other operators was clear, which in practice means shorter download times for larger files and more stable playback of high-quality content for T-Mobile users.
Average upload speed: Play (21.9 Mb/s)
For uploads, first place went to Play with 21.9 Mb/s. Right behind it was T-Mobile (21.6 Mb/s), followed by Orange (20.2 Mb/s), while Plus (16.9 Mb/s) remained last. Differences at the top were small, so for typical tasks—like sharing photos or backups—the experiences of Play and T-Mobile users were very similar.
Lowest ping: Orange (27 ms)
In terms of latency, Orange performed best—27 ms. Next were Play—30 ms, T-Mobile—31 ms, and Plus—38 ms. Lower ping means a more responsive connection, which will be appreciated by people using video calls and online games over LTE.

How Did We Collect the Data for the Ranking?
Measurements are collected from users using our mobile application. Thanks to it, we can measure the basic parameters of the mobile network – including signal strength and quality depending on the technology used by the mobile device, information about the mobile network operator, and the country where the smartphone is located. Additionally, on demand, Internet speed measurements during download and upload are performed, as well as a latency test.
When the application detects a poor-quality voice connection, lack of mobile Internet services, or another issue, it has the ability to report the user’s current location where the problem occurred.
