Between 26-30.10.2020, NOTEL Poland specialists will carry out measurements of mobile network quality in Poland using the Drive Test method. The aim is to test the 5G services offered by Polish mobile operators. The tests will be conducted in Warsaw, Łódź, and Wrocław.

The company informs that the scope of these measurements will include the efficiency of mobile package services and network behaviour during voice calls. The measurements will be made using Xiaomi Mi 10 5G, Motorola Edge 5G, PCTEL, and InfoVista tools (including the TEMS Paragon measurement platform).

The test results will be announced on the RFBenchmark website.

What is a Drive Test?

Drive Test is a procedure for measuring mobile network quality using specialised mobile terminals. The analysis of phone test calls and the use of mobile Internet on the move is to help analyse the quality and performance from a subscriber’s perspective.
