On April 16, the Auditorium of the Ujazdowski Castle Laboratory in Warsaw became the epicenter of a high-level discussion on the future of the telecommunications industry. The RFBENCHMARK 2025 Symposium brought together leading experts to explore the most pressing challenges and opportunities shaping the sector over the next five years. Key topics included the development of 5G networks, critical communication systems, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
The symposium welcomed an impressive lineup of speakers and panelists, including representatives from major telecom operators, market regulators, tech leaders, and independent industry experts. Among them were Jacek Bartosiak (Strategy&Future), Bartosz Kajut (VECTOR GROUP Co.), Michał Chrostek (Infovista), Steven James (PCTEL), Dariusz Działkowski (KIGEiT), Szymon Nowak (RFBENCHMARK), Rafał Janczyk (Digica), Taras Lukaniuk (Nokia Poland), Patryk Białas (Euro-Centrum), and Dariusz Nerek (Ericsson Poland). Institutional guests included Jacek Oko (Office of Electronic Communications – UKE), Anna Streżyńska (National Institute of Telecommunications), and representatives from the Military University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology, and the Warsaw University of Technology.
Highlights from RFBENCHMARK 2025
The event opened with a thought-provoking keynote by Jacek Bartosiak titled “Stability in Times of Chaos: Securing Telecommunications Amid 21st Century Challenges.” Addressing the geopolitical realities of today, Bartosiak highlighted the strategic importance of telecom infrastructure and sparked a vibrant conversation about national and global security.

Next on stage was Patryk Białas from the Euro-Centrum Science and Technology Park, who drew attention to the climate crisis and emphasized the urgent need for sustainable innovation across all economic sectors.
Rafał Surgiewicz, RFBENCHMARK’s Director of R&D, followed with a compelling presentation, “Telecom Challenges: Critical Communication – When Every Second Counts.” His session showcased systems and technologies designed to ensure reliability in emergency scenarios where response time is crucial.


The first panel, “Challenges Facing the Telecommunications Sector as a Strategic Industry,” delved into the sector’s evolving role amid increasing global complexity. Panelists included Jacek Bartosiak, Bartosz Kajut, Michał Chrostek, Steven James, and Dariusz Działkowski, with Maciej Molewski from RFBENCHMARK moderating the conversation.
The second panel, “Emerging Technologies in Telecommunications,” turned the spotlight on future-oriented innovations. Szymon Nowak, Rafał Janczyk, Taras Lukaniuk, Patryk Białas, and Dariusz Nerek shared insights on the integration of AI, automation, and green technologies in next-generation networks. The session was moderated by Rafał Surgiewicz.

- Orange Polska – Fastest mobile network and fastest 5G network in Poland (accepted by Marcin Ney, Director of Mobile Network Development)





The RFBENCHMARK 2025 Symposium reaffirmed its position as a premier platform for exchanging knowledge and insights within the telecommunications industry.
